Only one Rock

Lesson 3

1 Cor 10:4 “and they all drank the same spiritual drink, for they continually drank from the spiritual Rock that went with them, and that Rock was Christ”.

The verse above is written to deceive man into believing who the Rock is. The last five words of the verse are added to deceive.

What does the Father say about who the true rock is? Let us see by reading on.

THE TRUE ROCK 1 Sam 2:2 “There is none exalted as the Father: for there is none beside you: neither is there any Rock like the Father.”

2 Sam 22:2 “And he said, the Father is my rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer;”

2 Sam 22:32 “For who save the Father, who is a Rock.”

2 Sam 22:47 “the Father lives; and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the Rock of my salvation.”

Isa 26:4 “Confide ye in the Father for ever; for in the Father, is the rock of ages.”

Isa 44:8 “Fear not, neither be afraid. Have I not caused thee to hear from that time, and have declared it? and ye are my witnesses. Is there an the Father beside me? yea, there is no Rock: I know not any.”

Isa 51:1 “Hearken unto me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Father: look unto the rock whence ye were hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye were digged.”

These are just a few of the versus that tell us that the Rock is the Father the Father. To see that the Father is the Father read Isa 63:16. “For You are our Father, though Abram does not know us, and Jacob does not recognize us. You, Othe Father, are our Father, our Redeemer – Your Name is from of old.”

Now read Isa 64:8

And now, O the Father You are our Father. We are the clay, and You our potter. And we are all the work of Your hand.” The New Testament verse, 1 Cor 10:4, is not truth, as the rest of the New Testament is not. . .
