Lesson 9
What are the heathen rituals that are practiced in Baal worship that the sons of Jacob embraced?
2 Kings 16:2-4 “Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not do which was right in the sight of the Father…But walked in the way of the heathen, yes, even made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen. And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the shrines, and on the hills, and under every green tree”. (Son sacrifice!
And King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, upon the great altar burn the morning burnt-offering, and the evening meal-offering, and the King’s burnt-sacrifice, and his meal-offering, with the burnt-offering of the people of the land, and their meal-offering, and their drink-offerings, and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brazen altar shall be for me to inquire of. ”
Comment: All these sacrifices and offerings are rituals of Baal worship! Also, the burning of incense is part of the worship of Baal! Also son sacrifice !
Jer. 7:22, For I spoke not unto your fathers, nor commanded them concerning burnt-offerings and sacrifices, in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt;
The Father said in Jeremiah 7:22 that He did not speak to our fathers, nor commanded them to do sacrifice or burnt offerings. With this being true, how did the rituals of sacrifice and burnt offerings get into the writings?
This must have been added when or after the Masorites changed the Father’s word into their new invented Hebrew.
In Isaiah 1:11-14, the Father asks the sons of Jacob why they sacrificed to Him in Jerusalem.
Isa 1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amos, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
Isaiah 1:11 “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to me? I am full of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he-goats.
12 When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand?”
These scriptures obviously say the Father did not require this! He did not command it, nor did He delight in it! If the Father does not delight in something, it is because He did not command it, because it is wickedness!
13 Bring no more vain oblations: incense is an abomination: the new-moons and Sabbaths, feast-day Sabbaths regulated by the new moon the calling of assemblies, feast-day gatherings I cannot stand, It is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.”
14 “Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates: they are a trouble to Me; I am weary to bear them.” { The Father, He hates your appointed feasts } one of these appointed feast days is, the Passover lots of blood sacrifice the of killing of thousands of a lamb, or goats, to put their blood on the front of their door posts.
The Father hates the N.T. Pass over !
Isaiah 1:15-16 that the Father your hands are full of blood. (animal blood, and son’s blood) Wash yourself and make you clean, put away the evil of your doings.”
They also have a book called the N.T. so they still have their belief in son sacrifice.
Amos 5:21 reads “I hate, I despise your feast days….” But then you read in Lev. 23 all about the feast days and how it involves the killing of sheep, oxen, goats, etc.
This is why He hates these feast days because they are NOT His.
The Ten Commandments laws govern how man should treat the Father, men, and the beasts the Father created.
On the Seventh Day Sabbath the Father‘s beasts are to rest as man is to rest.
The sixth commandment says you shall not commit murder. It is to protect man and beast alike. The scripture below proves this point.
Isa. 66:3 “He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man.”
According to scripture, we have to have mercy to receive mercy from the Father. He will forgive our transgressions and we can receive protection from our enemies; we can’t kill man and beast without cause and say we have mercy.
Proverbs 16:6 “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged, and by the fear of the Father, men depart from evil”.
Sacrificing a son is Baal worship, as Ahaz did above.
Ps. 40:6, Sacrifice and offering thou did not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
All the above scriptures deny the theme of the New Testament. It’s having mercy and the keeping of the Ten Commandments that bring on the forgiveness of transgression. We will NOT receive mercy, or forgiveness, of our transgressions, from the N.T. supposed son’s, sacrificial blood. This is murder, not mercy!
Jer.7:22-24 “For I spoke not to your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt-offerings or sacrifices: But this I commanded them saying, obey My voice.” Kept the Commandments.
Eccl.5:1 “Keep quiet, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: For they consider not that they do evil.”
Isa. 22:13-14 And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we shall die. And it was revealed in my ears by the Father, Surely this iniquity shall not be forgiven you, till you die.”
Be advised that the eating of flesh; drinking wine; sacrificing of beasts; sacrificing of a son, offerings of drink, meal, blood, or burnt-offerings are iniquity, and is Baal worship rituals. Baal, the idol of the nations, even today! Lord means Baal in Hebrew, this is fact !
