The Agreement

Lesson 6

We are commanded to keep the Ten Commandments according to the Prophets. The Statutes and Judgments are those Ten laws spoken of below.

The rewards for keeping the commandments we will receive rain when needed, good crops, and be able to overcome our enemies.

At the time of the end, we will be Judged by the Father to see if we kept His Statutes, and Judgments.

Those that kept the Law to life forever in the promised land. Those that did not keep the law to death.

Deut. 5:1, And Moses called all Jacob, and said unto them, Hear, O Jacob, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

Deut. 5:22, These words the Father spoke to all your congregation on the mountain from the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the obscurity, with a great voice, and he added no more; (laws) and he wrote them on two tables of stone, and gave them to me

Deu 6:2 That thou might fear the Father, to keep all his statutes and his Ten Commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Deu 6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Father, as he hath commanded us.

Deu 7:9 Know therefore that the Father, he is Almighty, the faithful Almighty, which keeps agreement and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

1Ki 8:58 That he may incline our minds unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.

Ezek. 18:20, The soul that sins, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Ezek. 18:21, But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Ezek. 18:22, All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

Ezek. 18:23, Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Father: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

Ezek. 18:24, But when the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

Ezek. 18:25, Yet ye say, The way of the Father is not equal. Hear now, O house of Jacob; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

Ezek. 18:26, When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and die in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.

Ezek. 18:27, Again, when the wicked man turns away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.

Ezek. 18:28, Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
